Kings of Tallinn Sounds Off with Incredible Player Party

Table Of Contents

After more than a week of nonstop poker action in the heart of Estonia, the Kings of Tallinn wrapped up in the best way possible—with one heck of a players’ party at the OlyBet Bar & Grill.

The energy was electric from the start, with free-flowing drinks, great food, and a live band featuring Estonian pop royalty. And just when you thought the night couldn’t get any better, the mic opened up for a karaoke session that kept the party going well into the early hours. It was the perfect send-off for an incredible festival.

Who’s That on the Bass?

After Kaspars Butans clinched the record-breaking Kings of Tallinn Main Event for €182,000, it was time to trade poker hoodies and card protectors for something a little more party-ready. Players, dealers, industry staff, and entourages ditched the tables and dove headfirst into Tallinn’s buzzing nightlife.

With bubbly in hand, everyone got the introductions out of the way, and just like that, the party was in full swing. There were no cliques—just the poker community coming together as one, something the Kings of Tallinn has worked hard to build. At the tables, it’s all about competition, but on the dance floor? It was nothing but good vibes.

Then came the live band, a powerhouse lineup of professional musicians from all over the world. As soon as they hit the stage, the energy in the room went up a notch. The beats were infectious, the vocals on point, and before long, the dance floor was packed with players proving they had moves beyond just check-raises and bluffs.

live bandThe band—performing together for the very first time—was fronted by pop star Laura Põldvere, and they did not disappoint. Their set was full of toe-tapping, head-bobbing energy that had the entire club moving.

On guitar was Nicolas Duchemin, who jetted in from Monaco on just two days’ notice and wasted no time wowing the crowd with his shredding solos. Behind the kit, Berklee College of Music alum Jarkko “The Finnish Mountain” Rantala brought the thunder on drums, while Mairo Marjamaa seamlessly switched between saxophone and keyboard as if he was multi-tabling tournaments.

And to the surprise of many poker players in the crowd, a familiar face was on stage, slapping the bass. Tournament director extraordinaire Olivier Franceschi kept the rhythm flowing with his instrument of choice.

Tournament Director Olivier FranceschiWhile many know Franceschi for his expertise in running poker tournaments, his previous life had him traveling the world as a professional bassist, performing in front of thousands of people. PokerNews caught up with Olivier to dive into his secret life of music, and you’ll get the full story in an upcoming feature.

Poker Players All-In on the Mic

poker players singingPoker players are famous for their quick thinking, risk-taking, and ability to read people. But did you know some of them have another surprising skill? While they’re busy raking in chips or trading their way to success, a few have got what it takes to steal the show with a microphone in hand.

Scott “pokerbrahz” KenyonAnd you could practically hear the crowd’s jaws drop when Scott Kenyon, better known as Twitch streamer PokerBrahz, stepped up to the mic. He took on a few tracks, including Maroon 5’s She Will Be Loved and Evanescence’s Bring Me to Life. Kenyon absolutely nailed those high notes.

An up-and-comer in the poker streaming world, ConkPoker, also took the stage and crushed a flawless cover of Forgot About Dre.

The party wound down around 3 a.m., with some partygoers calling it a night and others heading out to keep the fun going. It was a solid 10/10 night—perfectly capping off a 10/10 poker festival. Trust us; you won’t want to miss the next one.
